The George Foreman Grill

George Foreman Grill

I’d have to say that without a doubt the most versatile kitchen appliance I own is my George Foreman Grill. I got mine as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago and it get’s used atleast once a week. There are a lot of copy cats on the market but I’ve got no plans to replace mine until it stops working.

Though “the next grilleration” model has got me tempted, easy to clean removeable hotplates and adjustable heat settings might be the things that sway me in the end.

I’ve used it to cook sausages, burgers, toasted sandwiches, toasted foccacios, steak and chicken breasts.

When cooking solid pieces of meat like steak and chicken I always use a marinade, otherwise I find the high heat setting of the grill toughens the meat on the outside just a little too much for my liking.

As far as cleaning goes I just wipe mine mine down with a wad of paper towel while it’s still warm. Just take care to make sure it’s a thick wad of towel or your going to get burnt fingers.

Happy Grilling !
