Sausage in Bread

Here is a pretty basic meal that is easy to jazz up, the only cooking skills you need is to be able to cook a sausage and slice a bread roll. Just by using some good ingredients you’ll come up with a quick and tasty meal.
I picked up some good quality lamb and rosemary sausages from the local deli. I cooked them in my George Foreman Grill. These were good sausages so I didn’t see a lot of fat drain out of them which is a good thing.
Next thing was to slice the bread roll down the middle and lightly spread the sides with some wholegrain mustard. I then spread some shredded mesculan lettuce along the length of the roll.
Once the sausages are cooked drop them into the rolls and top them with chopped avocado, halved cherry tomatoes and crumbled greek fetta. Pour a thin strip of sweet chilli sauce along the sausage and they are ready to go.
